If you've been searching for the perfect vintage Valentine's Day dress, then look no further than this spectacular red velvet number.
I believe it was made in either the late 50s or early 60s, but it certainly has more of a 1950s silhouette to it.
This lovely 1950s velvet piece is accented with a fabulously sweet lace collar and sleeves.
Please note the wonderful folds at the waist and sleeve lines, yet another detail that shows the care taken in the construction of this piece.
It's also an ideal holiday dress -- or great for those looking to turn heads at any time of the year.
The dress closes with two zippers -- one in the side, and one in the center back.
It is unlabeled and comes complete with a paper crinoline/lining that gives it that "pouf" and extra bit of volume on the lower half of the dress.
This vintage 1950s cocktail dress likely best fits a modern US size small. Please see exact measurements below to ensure a proper fit.
Shoulder to Shoulder: 14"
Total Length of Dress: 41"
This vintage red velvet and lace dress is in excellent vintage condition.
The only flaw to note is a small tear under the left armpit, which is not visible when worn.
